Konfigurasi Freeradius

Freeradius merupakan komponen utama yang digunakan untuk komunikasi hotspot login, berikut gambaran sederhananya
mysql <= freeradius => coova-chilli . di dalam freeradius ada komponen "driver" pembaca database mysql-server, sehingga apabila terjadi kesalahan konfigurasi, maka dampaknya login failed pada waktu user input username dan password yang telah ada di database mysql.

Ada perbeda'an konfigurasi freeradius di openwrt dengan distro linux lain, contohnya ubuntu. Karena, paket yang disiapkan oleh repo openwrt tidak selengkap paket yang terdapat di ubuntu. Jadi, kita harus mengambil bebrapa file didalam freeradius yang berasal dari paket ubuntu untuk dimasukkan ke freeradius di openwrt.

Berikut tahapan konfigurasi freeradius

1.  Download 7-zip yang berguna untuk extract paket freeradius by windows
2.  Download dan extract paket FreeRADIUS
3.  Masuk ke putty, berikan perintah berikut:

Perintah dibawah ini untuk mebuat direktori didalam direkori freeradius2, karena secara default direktori tersebut belum ada
root@obengkumana:~# mkdir -p /etc/freeradius2/sql/mysql

4. Masukkan 2 file dialup.conf dan counter.conf  yang berasal dari folder /freeradius-server-2.2.0/raddb/sql/mysql  dari fie yang kita extract tadi kedalam folder /etc/freeradius2/sql/mysql di openwrt menggunkan winscp
5. Edit /etc/freeradius2/sql/mysql/counter.conf.
- Hapus semua mulai dari bagian dibawah ini ke bawah:

12. Masuk ke putty, check dengan command dibawah ini untuk memastikan konfigurasi kita sdh OK
root@obengkumana:~# radiusd -X

13. Jika sudah tidak ada error yang keluar, dilanjutkan dengan command berikut
root@obengkumana:~# /etc/init.d/radiusd enable
root@obengkumana:~# /etc/init.d/radiusd start
Check sekali lagi untuk memastikan radiusd sdh sempurna dengan perintah berikut
root@obengkumana:~# netstat -apn
pastikan ada baris dibawah ini
udp        0      0 192.168.1.1:1812        0.0.0.0:*                          
udp        0      0 192.168.1.1:1813        0.0.0.0:*


Jika sudah ada, bisa masuk ke konfigurasi selanjutnya
